At the 2009 Sea Otter Classic, SRAM launched some of their 2010 components. A revamped shock, new forks, light brakes, colorful components and carbon bits. Giant Reign X 2010 Exclusive Sneak Peek

At the Sea Otter Classic, Pinkbike got an exclusive sneak peek of a 2010 generation II prototype Giant Reign X. Giant’s goal when re-designing the Reign X was to reduce the overall weight of the bike and try to come up with a sub 30 lbs complete package.

2010 BoXXer – the rebirth of a champion

Avid Elixir CR preview

I’ve been using various Juicy’s on all my bikes for a few years now and have developed a very close bond with them. They are simple, low maintenance, reliable and super easy to bleed and in my opinion were perfect – but I guess not perfect enough for the tireless designers and engineers at Avid. I was pleasantly surprised to see Avid launch a totally new brake at the Sea Otter Classic this year – the Elixir R.

Futuristic Air Release Technology by RockShox

I was out in Grand Junction this weekend riding and I saw this bike in the parking lot. At first I thought it looked a lot like those pictures of the new BOS fork with that external reservoir. When I quizzed the rider of the bike he told me a very different use.
