I've been using various Juicy's on all my bikes for a few years now and have developed a very close bond with them. They are simple, low maintenance, reliable and super easy to bleed and in my opinion were perfect – but I guess not perfect enough for the tireless designers and engineers at Avid. I was pleasantly surprised to see Avid launch a totally new brake at the Sea Otter Classic this year – the Elixir R.

Push Pike vs Stock Pike

Since my last piece about the Push Pike, I've had the chance to ride and compare a stock Pike to the Push Pike. I took both forks and did back to back rides on the same trails using the same bike.

I was out in Grand Junction this weekend riding and I saw this bike in the parking lot. At first I thought it looked a lot like those pictures of the new BOS fork with that external reservoir. When I quizzed the rider of the bike he told me a very different use.

The latest, and highly anticipated, movie from Clay Porter (Distinction Productions) is the epically filmed "F1RST", and today sees the launch of the new web site featuring the captivating new trailer.

www.f1rstmovie.com also features information on the World Premiere set for April 18, in Monterey, during the week of the Sea Otter Classic, as well as how people can order tickets for the limited seating for this film event. There will also be, coming soon, information on the various Regional Premieres taking place all over the world, from May onwards.

With the ever growing demand for wider riser bars and since the fastest DH racer in the world exclusively uses Full On bars. I knew it would be a matter of time before FUNN introduced a bar wider than 28".
