Avid Elixir CR preview

I’ve been using various Juicy’s on all my bikes for a few years now and have developed a very close bond with them. They are simple, low maintenance, reliable and super easy to bleed and in my opinion were perfect – but I guess not perfect enough for the tireless designers and engineers at Avid. I was pleasantly surprised to see Avid launch a totally new brake at the Sea Otter Classic this year – the Elixir R.

At the highest level of junior downhill racing, the Junior Expert class the fields are bigger than ever in the history of the sport! Diablo Freeride Park, Americas Premier Mountain Bike Park, is excited to welcome racers from near and far to ROUND 1 of the 2008 Diablo Domination Series on May 17th-18th. The first race in the series has traditionally played host to a number of top racers who use this weekend for training and as an opportunity to enjoy the entire trail network that Diablo has to offer.
